Sweet Marie’s story began with our grandmother, Marie.

On Sunday afternoons, generations of women gathered in her kitchen with sauce on the stove, warm cups of tea in hand, and a little something sweet on the table, traditions that would later inspire Sweet Marie’s Tea Cottage.

Located in the heart of historic Wickford Village, Sweet Marie’s offers Afternoon Tea and private events by reservation. We value our community and partner with local shops and pastry chefs whose specialty ingredients and handcrafted confections are featured throughout our menus.
